Small businesses who are serious about growth but frustrated with where they are. They've usually tried marketing before, maybe with an agency, maybe on their own, and they know something isn't working. They're not looking for more tactics. They want a strategic partner who'll be straight with them about what to do and, just as importantly, what to stop doing.
It starts with our DISCOVER phase — a thorough audit of your business, your marketing, your competitors, and your goals. From there, we move into the CLEAR phase, where we identify what to eliminate before we recommend anything new. The whole process runs through The Ridge Pine Growth Method™ — a four-phase framework I use with every client to make sure we're building systems, not just running campaigns.
A freelancer executes a task. We build a strategy and then make sure the execution serves it. The distinction matters because most marketing problems aren't execution problems, they're strategic ones. Doing the wrong things efficiently doesn't move the needle. What we bring is the ability to see the whole picture, tell you what's worth doing and what isn't, and connect every tactic back to a goal that actually matters to your business. If you need someone to write three blog posts a month, a freelancer is probably the right call. If you need someone to figure out why your marketing isn't working and fix it, that's a different conversation.
Yes, but with a caveat. We'll always start with enough discovery to understand your full picture before recommending anything. Sometimes SEO is the right primary focus. Sometimes we get into it and realize your positioning is too unclear for SEO to move the needle yet, or your website can't convert the traffic we'd send. We'd rather surface that in week one than six months in. Single-service engagements are possible, but they work best when the foundation is already solid.
Retainers typically start around $1,000, and depending on services and scope increase from there. I'll be direct about this in our communications, no vague "it depends". If what you're looking for doesn't align with that range, I'll tell you upfront and point you in the right direction.
Results are determined on where you're starting and what we're building, and I'll always be honest about realistic expectations before we begin. What I can tell you is that sustainable marketing results don't follow a 30-day timeline, and anyone who promises that is usually talking about traffic or impressions, not revenue. Early work tends to surface quick wins from fixing what's already there. New strategy takes longer to compound. The businesses that see the strongest results are the ones that commit to building something real instead of chasing the fastest possible number. We'll set clear benchmarks together so you always know what we're measuring and why.
